Located in Changlingju, the Ecological and Livable demonstration area east of Guangzhou, the site blends into the green mountains. Successfully handling the moisture and the level difference between the space and surrounding walls, the design introduced vertical planting with carefully selected plants that vary in texture and color to the courtyard. The green, softening the walls, along with the dark wood decking provides a minimal but delicate intimate space for the household, creates a peaceful impression of the forest in the misty canyons.
